A lunchtime concert given by Susie Self and Michael Christie (appearing as "Seawolf and Christie"), with voice, cello, piano and guitars. Includes works by Elgar, Strauss, Schubert, Mozart, Gershwin, Kern, Christie and Self.

Admission only £3, all proceeds go to Oxfam.

The fee of £225 covers: two hour-long singing sessions with Susie Self (£60 per hour), two hour-long coaching sessions with Michael Christie (£40 per hour) and a one-day workshop (£25). The delicious homemade vegetarian cooking, comfy accommodation and wine are all free!

In a concert of the Gloucester Music Society, baritone Jeremy Huw Williams premieres Susie Self's "Songs of Immortality", commissioned by the Ralph Vaughan Williams Trust.

The Chesterfield Symphony Orchestra accompanies Susie Self in a performance of Elgar's "Sea Pictures".

The North Norfolk Opera Society performs Benjamin Britten's gentuly bucolic comic opera "Albert Herring" at the Auden Theatre, located in the grounds of his old school, Gresham's.

Susie Self conducts a sterling cast of dedicated Norfolk singers and Susanna Stranders, piano.

Seawolf & Christie perform original folk-revival-style songs with Seawolf's unique classical and world influences, on voice, cello, keyboards and guitars.

Atsitsa, on the south-western side of Skyros Island, is a delightful paradise of bamboo huts, lush groves lovingly tended, and delicious communal meals cooked up by the resident work scholars under the direction of the head chef. This workshop teaches a path to meaningfully deepen your self-expression through voice and painting. Susie leads a relaxing, energising workshop to inspire personal healing. Voice work can relieve depression and transform burnout. The course includes singing bowl meditations, mantra singing and drumming. Release the power of your singing voice through Susie's easy method which gets you singing quickly with an increase of range, breath and confidence. These workshops offer fun singing in a group with harmonies. No previous singing experience needed! Please bring a poem or piece of writing that you love. No previous experience of singing is needed.

Susie also presents an additional activity, "Wild Swimming" in both sessions. An energetic, enjoyable workout. Participants walk at a brisk pace to an area of outstanding beauty and swim. Sturdy shoes and 'sea' shoes are recommended.

The additional activity which is offered in the second session (AT2) is Painting. Participants will go into the gorgeous Skyrian landscape and into the inner landscape of themselves to create appealing paintings that they will want to hang in their home. Susie draws on contemporary abstract painting techniques which release artistic potential. No previous experience of painting is needed.

We will explore magical hidden sites on Skyros.  For inner landscapes we create abstract Mandalas (round paintings) that help connect us to a deeper sense of ourselves.  This workshop with its combination of modern painting techniques and soul journeying liberates and inspires. Please bring a poem or piece of writing that you love. No previous experience of painting is needed.

Connecting to your Self through the Mandala
After Dinner on the beach. Respond to the call of your true self by creating a communal Mandala, a round piece of art with natural found objects. An inspiring experience.
